My Approach

Psychosynthesis is the heart of how I work. It's based on the understanding that we're all complex beings with different aspects to our personality - perhaps the part that tries to please everyone, the voice that criticises us, or the scared part that holds us back. This approach helps you get to know these different parts of yourself and bring them into harmony, so you can live life more authentically and step into your full potential.

This understanding guides my deep belief that everyone has the capacity to grow and heal. My role is to support you in this journey, helping you connect with your inner wisdom and find your own path to healing. Together, we can explore your experiences, understand your emotions, and develop the tools you need to create a life that truly reflects who you are.

How do I help?

My approach is collaborative and gentle. I believe you have the answers within you, and my role is to create a safe space where you can access your inner wisdom. I work at your pace because you know your truth better than anyone else.

My role is to walk alongside you as you explore what feels important, offering gentle guidance and psychosynthesis tools when they feel helpful. We'll work primarily through conversation, though I may suggest techniques like guided imagery, mindfulness exercises, or gentle breath work if they suit your process.

Everything we do together is based on what feels right for you - I never impose an agenda, but rather follow your lead. What matters most is that you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your experiences at your own pace.

About Me

Hi, I'm Radhika Malhotra, founder of Cognisance Counselling.

I'm a qualified psychosynthesis counsellor with a degree from The Psychosynthesis Trust in London. My background includes a BA in Psychology and seven years as a teacher in Canada and Dubai, which deepened my understanding of how to support people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Since building my private practice in 2023, I've been helping adults navigate anxiety, relationships, and life's complexities. Having lived across different countries myself, I bring particular insight into how our backgrounds shape our sense of identity and belonging.

My approach is rooted in the belief that you have everything you need within you to create positive change - my role is to help you access those inner resources with warmth, empathy, and compassion.
